The Sacramento Metropolitan Chapter and Central Valley Fresno Chapter of Blacks in Government (BIG) will host its Thirteenth Annual Training Workshop on Friday, May 17, 2002, at the Holiday Inn/Holidome—Conference Center, 5321 Date Avenue, Sacramento, CA. This year’s workshop theme: "Navigating the Road to Success".


Our invited keynote speaker for the luncheon session is Judge Greg Mathis. We are requesting your support and approval for your employees to attend our one-day training workshop.


The Sacramento Metropolitan Chapter is a 501 (C)(3) nonprofit, nonpartisan, educational, training, advisory and professional development organization 

that functions under the umbrella of the National Organization of BIG. 

BIG is committed to professional and cultural advancement of African American federal, state, city, local government and private sector employees. BIG provides the following services and resource information: professional development, EEO advocacy, employee support, and community service assistance. Our local chapter also provides mentoring and leadership role models in programs with our youth to enhance their quality of life.
